10m 48Gbps Active Fiber HDMI 2.1 Cable

This unidirectional active fiber-optic HDMI 2.1 cable extends 48 Gbps bandwidth across a full 10 metres. It targets installers and enthusiasts who need 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz HDR signals over distances that standard copper cables cannot reach reliably.

Build Integration and Signal Demands

The cable requires a compatible HDMI 2.1 source and display to unlock its certified Ultra High Speed performance. Its active chipset draws power from the HDMI ports, so both ends must supply adequate current; no external adapter is included. Fiber construction eliminates electromagnetic interference, freeing routing options near power cables or inside walls.

Capacity Limits and Headroom

Certified 48 Gbps throughput handles 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with 12-bit 4:4:4 HDR, VRR and ALLM. ARC and eARC carry Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 7.1 or 5.1 audio back to a receiver. The link is backward compatible with HDMI 2.0 devices, but maximum resolution and refresh rate then fall to that earlier standard.

Questions about this item

Does the 10m fiber link maintain 48Gbps bandwidth without signal loss under sustained 8K 60Hz use?

The active chipset and fiber optics are designed to deliver full 48Gbps bandwidth across the entire 10m length for error-free 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz video.

Does the active chipset generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day 4K 120Hz gaming sessions?

The cable uses a passive fiber optic design with an integrated active chipset that operates silently without fans or external power, producing minimal heat.

Will this cable work with my existing HDMI 2.0 monitor and Dolby Atmos soundbar using ARC?

Yes, it is backwards compatible with HDMI 2.0 devices and supports ARC for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 7.1 or 5.1 surround sound.
