DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable carries 4K at 30 Hz, 2K at 60 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz with 7.1 audio over 6.6 ft
This 6.6 ft cable converts a DisplayPort source into an HDMI signal for monitors, projectors or TVs. It supports 4K at 30 Hz, 2560×1600 at 60 Hz and 1080p at 120 Hz. The uni-directional design means it will not work with an HDMI source device.
Use it when an existing cable is limited to 1080p at 60 Hz or lacks shielding for longer runs. The jump is worth it if you need 2K at 120 Hz or 4K at 30 Hz without signal drop-out. It does not add HDMI-to-DisplayPort capability.
Comfortably drives a 4K display at 30 Hz, a 2K panel at 120 Hz or a 1080p screen at 120 Hz with 7.1, 5.1 or stereo audio. Bandwidth runs out above 4K 30 Hz so 4K 60 Hz or 8K resolutions are not supported. The 6.6 ft length suits typical desk-to-TV setups.

It plugs a standard DisplayPort into the computer and a full-size HDMI into the monitor or TV.
The DisplayPort end connects to the GPU or laptop; the HDMI end goes to the display — reversing them gives no signal.
Clean the pins with a dry brush if dust builds up; replace the cable if the braid frays or 4K@30Hz, 2K@60Hz or 1080P@120Hz signals drop out.
