Keyence USB-C to HDMI 2.1 Cable 6ft

This unidirectional cable carries HDMI 2.1 signals from a USB-C source to an HDMI display. It supports 48Gbps bandwidth for 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz with HDR. The link works with Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 5 and USB4 hosts such as MacBook Pro, XPS and ThinkPad laptops.

Suited for high-refresh gaming and 8K media playback

Buyers needing macOS output above 4K at 60Hz should look elsewhere because the operating system caps the signal at that rate. The cable is unidirectional so it cannot drive a USB-C monitor from an HDMI source. Users requiring longer runs must consider active optical alternatives.

48Gbps HDMI 2.1 bandwidth decides compatibility

This single figure determines whether your display can receive 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz without compression. If your monitor or GPU tops out at a lower bandwidth tier the extra headroom goes unused. Check the host and sink specifications to confirm they both operate at the full 48Gbps rate.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a shorter or longer cable for my 4K 240 Hz monitor?

The 6 ft length matches the specification tested for 48 Gbps bandwidth; shorter or longer cables are not covered by the supplied data.

Will I actually see 8K 60 Hz on my RTX 4000 series laptop?

The cable supports 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz at 48 Gbps when the host GPU and display both implement HDMI 2.1; macOS is limited to 4K@60Hz.

Does Thunderbolt 5 raise the resolution ceiling beyond HDMI 2.1?

Thunderbolt 4 and 5 compatibility means the cable works with those ports, but the video ceiling remains the HDMI 2.1 limits of 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz at 48 Gbps.
