Industrial-Grade 10-50P Plug

This Zoro Select straight-blade plug carries a 50 A, 125/250 V AC rating in a three-pole, non-grounded configuration. The yellow rubber housing accepts cables from 0.6 in to 1.3 in diameter and is built for industrial environments where dust-tight, moisture-resistant and weather-resistant performance is required.

Dust-Tight, Weather-Resistant Housing

The rubber enclosure provides dust-ignition-proof protection and resists moisture and weather without an IP rating. Its straight-blade orientation and standard wiring style simplify field installation on generators, welders or heavy-duty equipment that use the NEMA 10-50P arrangement.

Suits Single-Phase 50 A Loads

Builders needing a grounded connector or an IP-rated ingress seal should look elsewhere. The non-grounded, three-blade design also does not fit four-wire or higher-amperage applications.

Questions about this item

How often should the rubber housing and blades be inspected for wear or damage?

Inspect the yellow rubber housing and three blades before each use; replace the plug if cracks, discoloration or loose blades appear.

What is the maximum continuous current this 10-50P plug can handle without overheating?

The 50 A rating is the continuous limit; sustained loads above 50 A will cause overheating.

Does the plug generate noticeable heat when run at 50 A for extended periods?

At the rated 50 A the plug runs warm but within design limits; ensure the 125/250V AC circuit and cable are correctly sized to avoid excess heat.
