255W ATX power supply for compact builds

This 255W ATX power supply fits small-form-factor desktops and replacement scenarios where a standard ATX unit is required. It carries 80 PLUS Gold certification for high efficiency and lower heat output. Modern Standby compatibility enables extremely fast wake-from-sleep times. The unit is new and ready for installation.

Gold efficiency and silent fan mode change daily use

80 PLUS Gold certification means the unit runs with high efficiency, reducing power consumption and keeping temperatures cooler. Zero RPM fan mode stops the cooling fan entirely at low and medium loads for near-silent operation. Resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion delivers clean, consistent power and reduces coil whine. These features combine to support energy-efficient sleep states and quieter performance.

255W output decides if this unit fits the build

The single specification that determines suitability is the 255W rated output. Systems with higher peak power demands will exceed this limit and require a larger unit. Buyers needing more headroom for discrete graphics cards or multiple drives cannot use this supply. Verify the total system draw before selecting this model.

Questions about this item

Will the cooling fan on this 255W unit need replacement after continuous use?

The fan stops completely at low and medium loads via Zero RPM mode, reducing mechanical wear and extending its service life.

What limits sustained output on this 255W Gold supply before protection triggers?

The 255W rated capacity is the hard ceiling; exceeding it activates over-power protection and shuts the unit down.

How much noise and heat does this 255W Gold PSU produce during all-day operation?

At typical loads the fan remains off for silent running, while 80 PLUS Gold efficiency keeps waste heat and power draw low.
