1200W CRPS power supply for server builds

This CRPS form-factor unit delivers 1200 watts of AC-DC power and has been tested working. It suits integrators fitting redundant supplies into compatible server chassis. The DPS-1200AB-16 B model matches the AC-151A and DPS-1200AB-16 A part numbers.

CRPS redundancy limits and slot constraints

The supply only functions in chassis with a matching CRPS bay and backplane; it cannot operate in a standard ATX case. Redundant operation requires a second identical module and a hot-swap cage. Buyers without a CRPS-ready enclosure cannot use this unit.

Questions about this item

How do the DPS-1200AB-16 A and DPS-1200AB-16 B models differ?

Both variants share the 1200W rating and CRPS form factor; the suffix letters indicate different production revisions or connector layouts, so match the part number to your server chassis manual.

What does the 1200W rating mean for a live server build?

It sets the maximum continuous AC-to-DC output the unit can deliver across all rails combined; actual draw depends on the installed CPUs, GPUs and drives, so budget headroom above your peak load.
