550W ATX supply for Dell workstations

The KHACHIMO DPS-550LB A is a 550 watt ATX power supply built to replace the original unit in Dell Precision RD340, RD430, 540 and RD640 systems. It arrives new and tested so it can serve as a direct swap for a failed or ageing factory supply.

Proprietary connector limits reuse outside listed

The unit uses Dell-specific pinouts and mechanical keying, so it will not fit standard ATX motherboards or cases without adapter cables. Builders planning a custom chassis or a non-Dell board should choose a conventional ATX supply instead.

Questions about this item

Which DPS-550LB revision — A, B, C or D — matches my RD340, RD430, 540 or RD640 chassis?

The unit is tested working and labelled for RD340, RD430, 540 and RD640 systems; choose the revision letter that matches the sticker on your original power supply.

What does the 550 W rating mean for a system that originally shipped with a 340 W or 430 W unit?

The 550 W capacity covers the higher RD640 requirement and provides headroom for the lower 340 W and 430 W configurations without changing cables or form factor.
