1U 200W PSU for compact NAS builds

This 1U form-factor power supply delivers 200 watts of continuous power and fits the tight vertical clearance of rack-mount or mini-tower NAS enclosures. It targets system integrators and home-lab builders who need reliable ATX power in a slim chassis without sacrificing efficiency certifications.

80 PLUS Gold efficiency with Zero RPM mode

Gold-rated efficiency reduces waste heat and lowers overall power draw during typical NAS workloads. The Zero RPM fan mode stops the fan completely at low and medium loads, keeping acoustic output near zero while the resonant LLC topology with DC-to-DC conversion minimises coil whine and maintains clean voltage regulation.

Modern Standby support enables instant wake

Modern Standby compatibility allows the connected system to enter ultra-low-power sleep states and resume almost instantly, which is valuable for NAS units that must respond to network requests around the clock. The LLC resonant design and DC-to-DC conversion make these deeper sleep states stable, so the server stays accessible without idling at full power.

Questions about this item

How do I install this 1U power supply and which step is often missed?

Secure the unit with the four 1U mounting screws, attach the 24-pin ATX and 4+4-pin CPU connectors, then verify the fan intake faces an open airflow path before closing the chassis.

What maintenance will this 200W unit need over time?

Clean dust from the fan grille periodically; the Zero RPM mode reduces bearing wear, but the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency depends on unobstructed airflow to maintain lower temperatures.

Which limit appears first during sustained load on this FSP supply?

The 200W continuous output ceiling is reached before thermal protection engages, so total system draw must stay within that rating to avoid shutdown.
