Dell R710 870W Server Power Supply

This 870 watt unit is built for Dell PowerEdge R710 servers and compatible platforms that require a hot-plug redundant supply. It delivers the rated output through a standard server form factor and has been tested to confirm working operation.

Capacity and headroom for R710 workloads

The 870 watt rating supports dual-processor configurations with multiple drives and expansion cards in typical R710 deployments. Headroom decreases when both CPUs run sustained heavy loads together with a full complement of spinning disks and add-in cards, at which point the supply approaches its limit.
