Questions about this item

Does this 618 W ATX power supply need any extra cables or connectors that are not already attached?

It uses a standard ATX form factor so it fits regular ATX cases and connects to motherboards with the usual 24-pin and CPU power plugs.

Will the DPS-650LB A unit power an older motherboard that only has a 20-pin main connector and a 4-pin CPU plug?

Yes, the 24-pin connector splits to 20+4 pins and the CPU cable splits to 4+4 pins, so it works with legacy boards.
