Purpose and capacity

The Kinedyne 641201GRA is a 12 ft by 2 in polyester ratchet strap rated for a 1,000 lb working load limit and a 3,000 lb breaking strength. It is built for securing cargo on trailers, trucks or yard equipment where a gold-coloured, spring E-track end fitting is required.

Installation and common issues

Thread the strap through the ratchet mandrel, pull tight and pump the handle until the load is firm; the spring E-track hooks then engage the track slots. The most frequent problem is insufficient tension or a twisted webbing, both of which reduce the effective working load limit.

Pre-order checks

Verify that your anchor points accept spring E-track fittings and that the 12 ft length reaches between them with enough tail for the ratchet. Confirm the 1,000 lb working load limit matches the weight of the items you intend to secure.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the ratchet mechanism is holding the 1,000 lb working load limit after I tighten the strap?

Pull the webbing tight, close the ratchet handle fully, and verify the pawl clicks into the gear teeth; the handle should stay locked without slipping when the 1,000 lb limit is applied.

What components come with the Kinedyne 641201GRA and what must I supply myself?

The package includes the 12 ft gold polyester strap with a spring E-track fitting and integrated ratchet; you must provide the matching E-track anchor points on your trailer or truck bed.

Which version of the Kinedyne 641201GRA should I choose for a 1,000 lb working load limit?

The 641201GRA is a single specification — 12 ft length, 2 in width, 1,000 lb working load limit, 3,000 lb breaking strength, gold polyester webbing, and spring E-track ends — so no alternative capacity or length exists for this model.
