A 2.5-inch SATA III internal SSD with 1TB of 3D NAND storage delivering up to 560MB/s reads and 530MB/s writes for faster boot and load times
Model P3-1TB-Soccer
The KingSpec P3-1TB-FB is a 2.5 inch internal solid state drive built for consumer laptops and desktops. It uses 3D NAND flash and a SATA III 6Gbps interface to deliver sequential reads up to 560 MBps and writes up to 530 MBps.
With no moving parts the drive runs completely silent in normal use. Idle power consumption is rated at 0.25W, helping to extend battery life on portable systems while keeping desktop power draw minimal.
Native Command Queuing, TRIM, S.M.A.R.T., wear levelling, garbage collection and over-provisioning work together to maintain consistent performance. The drive is rated for 480TB written and a 1,000,000 hour MTBF.
Measured against everything we stock in Internal NVMe & SATA SSDs, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
Connect the drive to a SATA data cable and a SATA power connector, then enable AHCI mode in the BIOS before cloning or installing the OS; skipping AHCI leaves the drive running in legacy IDE mode.
No user maintenance is required; the controller handles wear leveling, garbage collection, over-provisioning and TRIM automatically, while S.M.A.R.T. attributes report health until the 480 TBW limit is approached.
Sequential writes top out at 530 MBps and random writes at 64,000 IOPS; once the SLC cache fills during heavy sustained writes, speeds will throttle to the native TLC NAND rate.
