M.2 2280 NVMe drive with 2TB capacity, up to 3500 MBps read and 2100 MBps write speeds
The Kingston NV2 SNV2S/2000G is an internal solid-state drive built for consumer desktops and laptops that accept an M.2 2280 module. It provides 2TB of storage over a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe interface.
This drive fits motherboards and notebooks with an M.2 slot wired for PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe operation. Systems limited to PCIe 3.0 or earlier will not reach the stated speeds, so buyers should verify slot capability before purchasing.
The headline figure is a maximum sequential read of 3500 MBps, with writes up to 2100 MBps. If your workload depends on sustained throughput at or above this level, confirm the drive meets that requirement.

Insert the drive at an angle into the motherboard M.2 slot, press it flat, and secure it with the retention screw; the step most often missed is fitting that screw so the drive cannot lift under vibration.
No scheduled maintenance is required; the drive has no moving parts, so replacement only becomes necessary if the flash memory reaches its write endurance limit or a controller fault occurs.
Under continuous heavy writes the sequential write ceiling of 2100 MBps is reached first, after which the controller throttles to manage temperature and flash wear.
