KISSLER AB555-1130 Bibb Seat Kit

This kit supplies replacement bibb seats for single-hole faucet repairs. It is intended for plumbers and homeowners servicing compatible brass valve bodies. The package includes the necessary seats to restore proper sealing function.

Suits maintenance on fixtures accepting these

Installers working with different valve designs or thread patterns should verify compatibility before purchase. This kit will not service cartridge-based or ceramic-disc faucets that do not use replaceable bibb seats.

Straightforward bench repair with basic hand tools

Seats typically remove and install with a seat wrench; damaged or corroded brass bodies can prevent a watertight seal even with new seats. Clean threads thoroughly to avoid cross-threading during installation.

Questions about this item

Will the AB555-1130 kit fit my existing single-hole faucet body?

This kit includes bibb seats designed for single-hole faucet bodies; match the seat dimensions to your current valve before installing.

Can I use these brass seats with older steel valve bodies?

Brass seats install into compatible valve bodies regardless of the body material, provided the threads and seat diameter match the original parts.

How do I confirm the AB555-1130 seats sealed properly after installation?

Turn the water supply on and operate the handle; a successful seal shows no drips from the spout or around the bonnet nut when closed.
