Aquaterior Touchless Faucet for Hands-Free Hygiene

The Yescom USA 81FH1005-5-4-CHR is a single-hole bath faucet with automatic water induction for hands-free operation. It suits homes, hotels, hospitals and commercial bathrooms where reducing cross-contamination and water waste is a priority. The modern chrome-plated brass body resists corrosion and fits contemporary vessel sinks.

Mixing Valve and Dual Power Supply

A rotating mixing valve lets users set water temperature between hot, warm and cold for year-round comfort. The unit runs on mains power with a plugged-in design and includes a 4 AA battery backup so the sensor keeps working during a power cut. CUPC, NSF and CEC certifications confirm compliance with plumbing and safety standards.

Single-Hole Mounting with Included Hardware

The package supplies all mounting screws and nuts for a straightforward DIY installation on a single pre-drilled hole. No specialised tools or extra fittings are required, though installers must verify the countertop thickness suits the supplied hardware. Battery replacement requires access to the control box beneath the sink.

Questions about this item

How often will the four AA backup batteries need replacing?

Battery life depends on usage frequency; the faucet runs on mains power with the 4 AA cells only as backup during outages, so replacements are infrequent.

What limits continuous hands-free operation during a busy period?

The infrared sensor controls flow duration; water stops automatically when hands leave the detection zone, preventing waste during sustained use.

Does the brass body and chrome finish stay cool and quiet when the faucet runs all day?

The solid brass construction with chrome plating resists heat buildup, and the solenoid valve operates silently, so noise and surface temperature remain minimal.
