Compact heat protection

This KitchenAid Albany Mini Mitt set contains two cotton mitts sized 5.5 inches by 8 inches in Aqua Sky. They are designed for home cooks who need a secure grip on smaller hot items such as ramekins, saucepan handles or baking trays without the bulk of a full-length mitt.

Sustained grip and washability

The 100 percent cotton shell with polyester lining resists heat up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit during repeated oven-to-table transfers. Clear printed silicone on the surface maintains a slip-resistant hold even when the fabric becomes warm, and the mitts stay machine-washable after many cycles.

Simple storage and fit

Each mitt includes a hanging loop for hook or rail storage, keeping the pair visible and dry between uses. The mini dimensions suit most adult hands but may feel short for users who prefer forearm coverage when reaching deep into a hot oven.

Questions about this item

Will the cotton mitts stay cool enough for repeated oven use throughout a busy cooking day?

The 100 percent cotton mitts with polyester lining are rated to shield hands from heat up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, so they handle continuous daily oven work without overheating.

Do I need any extra liners or hooks to use the hanging loops right out of the box?

Each mitt includes a built-in hanging loop, so no additional hardware or liners are required for storage or display.

Can the 5.5 by 8 inch mini mitts be used alongside my full-size 12 by 12 inch pot holders without grip issues?

The clear printed silicone on each mini mitt provides a slip-resistant grip that works independently of larger pot holders.
