CarPlay-ready USB-A to USB-C cable kit

This two-pack of Kitminun cables connects USB-A ports to USB-C devices for CarPlay use and simultaneous charging. Each cable is 3 ft long and rated for 2.4 A charging current with 480 Mbps data transfer. FCC, CE and ROHS certifications cover the built-in safeguards.

Replaces worn or short factory cables in vehicles

Swapping a damaged or too-short cord for these 3 ft leads restores reliable CarPlay connectivity and fast charging up to 2.4 A. The jump is worth it when the original cable no longer seats firmly, shows fraying, or cannot reach the mounting position.

Suits drivers who need a spare CarPlay cable

The pair covers a primary phone and a passenger device, or provides a backup in the glovebox. Buyers who need USB-C to USB-C connections, longer runs for rear-seat mounting, or higher wattage charging for laptops should look at other cable types.

Questions about this item

What USB port size and type does the cable's male USB-A connector require on the car or charger?

The cable uses a standard male USB-A connector, so it fits any full-size USB-A port on a car head unit, charger or computer.

Which step do users often miss when connecting the cable for CarPlay on an iPhone 15 or 16?

After plugging the USB-C end into the iPhone 15 or 16, unlock the phone and tap Allow when the CarPlay prompt appears; the connection will not start until that permission is given.

How can I tell when one of the two 3 ft cables in the pack should be replaced?

Replace a cable if the USB-C or USB-A plug feels loose, if charging drops below 2.4 A, if data sync falls from 480 Mbps, or if the jacket shows exposed wires.
