Length measurement to 2000 feet and fault detection

Cable length reads up to 2000 feet (610 m) on the backlit LCD, while the tester flags Open, Short, Miswire and Split-Pair faults with wiremap detail. Hub blink mode identifies switch ports during live network mapping. Runs longer than 2000 feet or faults beyond the four listed types fall outside the tester range.

Five LanMap and five CoaxMap remotes included

The kit ships with five LanMap remotes and five CoaxMap remotes for single-step mapping of multiple cable runs, plus an adapter and battery. An analog tone probe (VDV500-123) is required for tracing individual conductors and is sold separately. Users without the probe cannot perform tone tracing.
