KLIM Boombox E1 portable CD player

The KLIM Boombox E1 is a compact black audio system that plays CDs, FM radio, and MP3 files from USB or auxiliary sources. It includes a built-in subwoofer for extra bass and ships with a remote control for convenient operation.

Replaces separate CD player and Bluetooth speaker

This single unit handles disc playback, wireless streaming from a phone or tablet, and wired auxiliary input, removing the need for multiple devices. The jump is worth it when you want physical media support and streaming in one portable box.

Rechargeable battery sustains wireless

The internal battery powers both Bluetooth and auxiliary modes without disposable cells, while mains power remains an option for fixed use. Under continuous load the subwoofer draws more current, so maximum volume runtime will be shorter than at moderate levels.

Questions about this item

How much shelf space does the 18.5 x 18.8 x 8.5 cm boombox need?

The unit measures 18.5 cm wide, 18.8 cm deep and 8.5 cm high, so allow at least that footprint plus a little clearance for the CD lid and cables.

What is the first step to start using the rechargeable battery instead of the mains lead?

Plug the supplied power cable in and charge the internal battery fully before the first portable session; the battery does not ship at full capacity.

When will the internal rechargeable battery need replacing?

Lithium-ion cells typically last several hundred charge cycles; expect reduced run-time after a couple of years of daily use, at which point the pack can be swapped by a technician.
