Cable Stripper for 5/16 to 33/64 in Diameter

This Knipex tool strips insulation from cables within the 5/16 to 33/64 in capacity range. It is built for electricians and technicians who need a manual, adjustable stripper with a cushion-grip handle made from fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. The overall length is 4 3/8 in.

Includes Longitudinal and Telescopic Blades

Two blades are supplied: one longitudinal and one telescopic. They extend the tool’s function beyond a single stripping style, letting the user match the blade to the cable construction. No tethering accessory is included, so drop-prevention gear must be sourced separately.

Manual Adjustment Limits Speed and Precision

The adjustable mechanism is operated by hand, which slows repetitive work compared with self-adjusting models. It strips only and does not cut or crimp, so additional tools are required for those tasks. The tool is not insulated, ruling it out for live-circuit work.
