Product identity

Koala glossy inkjet paper comes in a 100-sheet pack of 8.5-by-11-inch white sheets weighing 36 lb with a brightness rating of 98.00 lumen. The single-sided glossy finish is formulated for inkjet printers using dye-based inks and delivers fast-dry output without smudging or smearing.

Practical limits

This media is single-sided only; the reverse side is uncoated and not intended for printing. It must be used with inkjet devices and dye inks, so laser printers and pigment inks are unsuitable. The thin 135 gsm stock may not feed reliably in printers that require heavier paper paths.

Setup checks

Confirm your printer supports 8.5-by-11-inch single-sided glossy inkjet paper and that you are using dye-based ink cartridges. Verify the paper tray can handle 36 lb lightweight stock without misfeeds. Ensure you only print on the coated glossy side for the specified fast-dry performance.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 36 lb single-sided glossy or the heavier double-sided options?

The 36 lb single-sided glossy paper is 135 gsm and designed for fast-dry inkjet printing; heavier double-sided versions such as the 80 lb or 54 lb sheets are thicker and coated on both sides for two-sided output.

What does the 98 lumen brightness rating mean for my printed photos?

A 98 lumen brightness level produces a very white background that makes colours appear vivid and text look crisp on the glossy surface.

Is this paper limited to inkjet printers or can I use it in a laser device?

The manufacturer specifies use with inkjet printers and dye ink only; laser printers are not recommended for this single-sided glossy coating.
