Gateway to photographic excellence

The Kodak PIXPRO AZ255 is a compact mirrorless camera built for enthusiasts who want a lightweight, high-zoom solution without the bulk of interchangeable lenses. Its 16.35 megapixel CMOS sensor captures detailed JPEGs, while the 3.0 inch LCD provides clear framing and playback. The camera suits travellers, families and hobbyists who value simplicity and reach in a single black body.

25x optical zoom decides the fit

The defining specification is the 25x optical zoom lens, which covers a wide-angle to super-telephoto range in one fixed optic. This lets you pull distant subjects close without digital interpolation, a capability that fixed-focal or short-zoom cameras cannot match. Buyers who need wider maximum apertures, raw file output or interchangeable optics should look elsewhere.

16 megapixels and 1080p headroom

At 16 megapixels the sensor delivers enough resolution for large prints, moderate cropping and 4608x3456 stills, while 1080p30 video covers everyday recording. ISO reaches 3200 for low-light flexibility, though noise increases at the top end. The pop-up flash illuminates up to 7.1 metres at wide angle, and the 1/2000 second maximum shutter freezes action. Continuous burst and 4K video are not available.
