Kodak 60-inch Backlit Film Roll

This Kodak Glossy Solvent Polyester Backlit Film is a 280g, 8mil roll measuring 60 inches wide by 100 feet long. It is engineered for front-print applications on solvent and eco-solvent printers. The high-gloss finish and uniform coating deliver vivid colour saturation and sharp detail when illuminated in light boxes.

For advertisers, retailers

Buyers needing a lighter-weight film for portable frames or a matte surface for glare-free viewing should consider other media. Shops without solvent or eco-solvent ink systems cannot use this roll. The 60-inch width also demands a large-format printer carriage that accepts that size.

60-inch width determines printer fit

The single specification that decides suitability is the 60-inch roll width. Your printer must accept media at least this wide to run the roll without cutting or waste. Confirm the maximum media width of your device before ordering.

Questions about this item

What printer and ink combination is needed to print on this 60-inch wide Kodak backlit film?

The film is designed for solvent and eco-solvent inkjet printers. Your printer must accept a 60-inch roll and handle 8mil thick media.

Will this 280g polyester roll feed reliably through an older solvent printer that usually takes lighter paper?

The 8mil thickness and 280g weight require a printer rated for heavyweight roll media. Check your printer's maximum media thickness and roll weight capacity before loading.

How can I confirm the prints on this glossy film are curing correctly after they come off the printer?

Prints should be dry to the touch immediately with no ink offset. Colours appear vibrant and sharp under backlit conditions, showing the film's high-gloss finish is working as intended.
