Professional wide-format matte roll

Kodak Production Matte Paper is a 36-inch by 100-foot roll on a two-inch core. The 170gsm stock carries a water-resistant coating and dries instantly with both dye and pigmented inks. It is aimed at photographers and print shops producing short-term graphics or high-definition photographs.

Heavy ink coverage up to 300%

The paper accepts ink loads up to 300% without cockling or bleed, making it the deciding specification for solid-colour posters or photo prints with deep shadows. This capacity separates it from lighter coated papers that saturate at lower coverage levels.

Suits short-run display work.

Buyers who need museum-grade longevity or outdoor durability should look elsewhere, as the coating is optimised for temporary indoor graphics rather than long-term fade resistance.

Questions about this item

How does the 300% ink-coverage rating affect print quality on this matte paper?

The coating accepts up to 300% total ink laydown so dense graphics and photo areas stay sharp without bleeding or cockling.

What does the 170gsm weight mean for handling and feed reliability?

At 170gsm the sheet is stiff enough to resist curling on large-format rolls yet light enough to feed smoothly through most aqueous-ink printers.

Will the 36-inch by 100-foot roll fit my printer's spindle and media guides?

The roll is wound on a 2-inch core and measures 36 inches wide by 100 feet long, matching the core size and width used by many wide-format aqueous machines.
