Professional Wide-Format Roll

Kodak Rapid-Dry Satin Photographic Paper comes as a 36" by 100' roll designed for large-format inkjet printers. The resin-coated base handles both dye and pigment inks, making it suitable for photographers, sign shops and in-house graphics teams producing posters, point-of-purchase displays or tradeshow graphics.

Rapid-Dry Microporous Coating

The microporous surface absorbs ink instantly so prints are touch-dry straight from the printer. Immediate drying removes the wait before laminating or mounting, cuts the risk of smearing on long runs and reduces waste from rejected sheets.

Printer Compatibility Check

Verify that your wide-format printer accepts a 36" roll width and a 100' length before ordering. Confirm the media path can handle 8 mil thickness and that your RIP or driver includes a profile for resin-coated satin paper to obtain the stated colour density and opacity performance.

Questions about this item

How often will the 36" x 100' roll need to be replaced for high-volume poster printing?

Replacement frequency depends on your print volume; the 100-foot roll yields many 36-inch-wide posters before a new roll is required.

What limits continuous printing on the 190 g resin-coated satin paper?

The printer's ink-drying capacity and roll-unwind tension typically limit sustained output before the paper itself becomes a constraint.

Does the 107 CIE whiteness coating affect heat buildup or power draw during all-day runs?

The microporous rapid-dry coating is passive; it adds no heat or power load — thermal and electrical demands come from the printer, not the paper.
