Kodak 42in Water-Resistant Scrim Banner

This 42-inch by 40-foot roll uses a 16-mil scrim-reinforced vinyl substrate with a water-resistant coating. The surface produces high-resolution, vibrant images and resists scratches during handling. It is compatible with both thermal and piezo printing technologies for flexible workflow integration.

Best for high-volume outdoor signage

Print shops producing long-term banners for exterior use will benefit from the moisture resistance and robust construction. Buyers who need a lighter paper for indoor posters or short-term promotions should look at other media types.

16-mil scrim-reinforced vinyl

The heavyweight scrim construction determines tear strength, outdoor lifespan and printer compatibility. This specification decides whether the roll suits the intended display duration and environmental exposure.

Questions about this item

What core size does the 42-inch wide roll require on my large-format printer?

The roll is built on a standard 3-inch core that fits most 42-inch wide aqueous and solvent printers.

How should I load the 16-mil scrim banner to avoid head strikes?

Feed the roll so the coated side faces the print heads and set the media thickness to the 16-mil setting before printing.

When will the water-resistant coating on this 40-foot roll need replacement?

The coating lasts for the life of the roll; replace the media when the 40-foot length is used up.
