24-Port Gigabit Smart Switch

The kolitt DGS-1100-24V2 is a web-managed switch with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports for high-speed network expansion. It supports both desktop and rackmount installation for flexible deployment. The fanless design ensures silent, energy-efficient operation compliant with IEEE 802.3az. NDAA compliance makes it suitable for government and enterprise projects.

Small offices needing managed features

This switch suits environments that require VLAN support, QoS, bandwidth control and IGMP Snooping for voice and video traffic optimisation. The intuitive web interface simplifies local or remote administration. Buyers needing Power over Ethernet for access points or cameras must look elsewhere, as this model does not supply PoE. Organisations requiring Layer 3 routing or stacking capabilities should consider different hardware.

Fanless silent operation

The fanless chassis eliminates acoustic noise and reduces power draw for continuous operation in noise-sensitive spaces. Passive cooling also removes a moving part to improve long-term reliability. This thermal design limits the switch to environments with adequate ambient airflow. Verify that your rack or desktop location provides sufficient ventilation before purchase.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the DGS-1100-24V2 switch and do I need to buy rack ears separately?

The switch includes mounting brackets for rack installation so no separate rack kit is required. Power cord and quick install guide are also supplied.

Should I choose the 24-port DGS-1100-24V2 or a smaller model for a quiet office?

The 24-port version is fanless and silent, making it suitable for office use; select it when you need the full port count for current or future devices.

How does the 24 Gigabit port count translate to real throughput when every port is active?

Each port runs at full Gigabit line rate with non-blocking switching fabric so all 24 ports can sustain simultaneous 1 Gbps traffic without internal congestion.
