Ultra-light on-ear headphones

These Koss KPH7W on-ear headphones weigh .2 lb and use dynamic elements to cover 80 to 18000 Hz at 91 dB sensitivity. The white finish and adjustable headband suit listeners who want portable stereo sound without the bulk of over-ear designs. They are built for music playback from phones, laptops or dedicated players.

Check the 3.5 mm jack and cord reach

Verify that your device has a standard 3.5 mm headphone socket because the fixed cable ends in a 3.5 mm plug. The straight dual-entry cord measures 4 ft so confirm that length reaches your listening position without strain. No inline remote or microphone is included so inline controls will not be available.

Low impedance keeps volume easy

At 32 Ohms the headphones draw little power so portable sources drive them to loud levels without extra amplification. The lightweight frame and on-ear pads rest on the ears rather than enclosing them so some ambient sound remains audible. Passive cooling is provided by the open ear cups so the drivers stay at room temperature during long sessions.
