Six-Inch Extension with 45-Degree Flat Plug

This short power extension cord adds a low-profile NEMA 5-15P plug that protrudes only 0.58 inch from the wall. It is built with 14AWG SJTW copper conductors rated for 15 amps at 125 volts, delivering up to 1875 watts. The white jacket is UL listed and suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Homeowners and office users needing a compact outlet saver behind furniture will find it fits the space.

14AWG Rating and 15-Amp Circuit Limit

The cord’s 14AWG conductors set a hard ceiling of 15 amps continuous current on a 125-volt circuit. Exceeding 1875 watts total load risks overheating and tripping the breaker. The SJTW jacket resists moisture and abrasion, but the 15-amp plug and receptacle remain the governing limit. Builders who need more capacity must use a heavier gauge cable and a higher-rated circuit.

Tool-Free Plug-In with Right-Angle Clearance

Installation is a simple push of the flat plug into the wall outlet and the device plug into the NEMA 5-15R end. The 45-degree angle routes the cord to the right, leaving the lower receptacle free. The only common issue is attempting to draw more than 15 amps through the cord, which the plug rating does not allow. Strain relief at both ends reduces wear from repeated insertion.
