What this extension pole does
The Kupo 3 Section Extension Pole extends from 10.7 to 17 inches using three aluminium sections. It carries a 3/8"-16 male thread on one end and a 3/8"-16 female thread on the other, letting photographers and videographers position lights, monitors or small cameras at variable heights.
Behaviour when fully extended
At its 17 inch maximum the pole relies on a die-cast aluminium wing locking knob to hold each section rigid. The lock is designed to resist vibration and prevent unwanted movement during critical shooting sessions, keeping mounted equipment stable throughout a take.
