250FT Fiber Optic HDMI Cable

This active optical cable carries 18Gbps bandwidth over a 250FT length without signal loss. It targets installers and home-theatre owners who need 4K 60Hz or 1440p 144Hz video between distant source and display. The glass-fiber core replaces copper for runs that standard cables cannot reach.

Passive Optical Transmission

The cable converts electrical signals to light at each connector, so there is no attenuation or added latency across the full distance. Because the conversion modules draw power from the HDMI ports themselves, no external power supply is required. Gold-plated plugs and an aluminium shell provide durable, low-resistance contact surfaces.

ARC and HEC Support Included

Audio Return Channel and HDMI Ethernet Channel functions operate normally through the fiber link, letting a TV send audio upstream to a receiver or share a network connection. The cable also passes CEC commands, EDID data, 32-channel audio, Dolby UHD and 3D formats. No extra software or drivers are needed for any connected device.

Questions about this item

How do I install this 250 ft fiber HDMI cable and which end goes where?

The cable has direction-specific photoelectric modules — connect the source end to your PS5, PC or console and the display end to the TV, monitor or projector; reversing them breaks the signal.

What maintenance will this 75 m fiber cable need over time?

No routine maintenance is required; the glass fiber core and aluminum shell are passive, so only the 24K gold-plated HDMI plugs may need occasional reseating if contact oxidises.

What limit appears first when running 4K 60 Hz HDR continuously over this 250 ft link?

The HDMI 2.0 18 Gbps bandwidth ceiling is reached before any fiber attenuation, capping you at 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 8-bit or 1440p 144 Hz with no headroom for higher rates.
