Kyocera ECOSYS P8060cdn A3 Colour Laser Printer

The Kyocera ECOSYS P8060cdn is an A3 colour laser printer built for business environments that need high-volume output. It prints up to 60 pages per minute in black and white and 55 pages per minute in colour. Maximum paper size reaches 12 x 18 inches with a weight limit of 166 lb Index. Standard duplex printing and a 250,000-page monthly duty cycle support heavy daily workloads.

Setup requirements for Kyocera P8060cdn

Verify that your network infrastructure includes 10/100/1000BaseTX Ethernet or Wireless LAN for connectivity. The printer also offers Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and four USB host ports for direct or peripheral connections. Ensure your print environment supports the included PDL languages: PRESCRIBE, PCL6, KPDL3, XPS, PDF and legacy emulations. Standard paper supply consists of a 500-sheet drawer and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray.

Upgrade path from slower A3 colour lasers

This model replaces older A3 colour lasers that top out below 60 ppm mono or 55 ppm colour. The jump is worthwhile when your monthly volume approaches the 250,000-page duty cycle or when you need standard duplexing and 12 x 18-inch capability without optional accessories. It is not suited for buyers who require a compact desktop footprint or entry-level colour output for light use.

Questions about this item

What paper trays come with the ECOSYS P8060cdn and what extra capacity can be added?

The printer includes a 500-sheet drawer and a 100-sheet multipurpose tray as standard; additional drawers can be fitted to expand total input capacity.

Should I choose the 60 ppm black-and-white or the 55 ppm colour speed for my workload?

Both speeds are built in — the device prints up to 60 pages per minute in mono and 55 pages per minute in colour, so you do not select one over the other.

How does the 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution look on a 12 x 18 inch page?

At 1200 x 1200 dpi the printer produces sharp text and smooth colour gradients across the full 12 x 18 inch maximum sheet size.
