Directional 2.4 GHz flat panel antenna

The HG2414P is a high-performance directional antenna built for the 2.4 GHz ISM band. It supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless links in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Vertical or horizontal polarisation flexibility

The antenna can be mounted for either vertical or horizontal polarisation to match the remote device. Low-loss solid brass elements and a DC short lightning protection circuit help maintain signal integrity during storms.

Compact square form factor with coax lead

At 8.5 inches square the radome fits tight mounting points and uses UV-stable, UL flame-rated material for outdoor durability. Installers must ensure the coax pigtail reaches the radio connector without strain and that the mast or bracket supports the chosen polarisation orientation.

Questions about this item

Does the 8.5 inch radome need periodic cleaning or replacement?

The UV-stable, UL flame rated radome is built for long-term outdoor exposure and does not require scheduled cleaning or replacement.

What limits continuous point-to-point range on the 2.4 GHz band?

Line-of-sight clearance, regulatory EIRP limits, and coax cable loss are the practical limits for sustained directional links.

Does the antenna generate heat or noise when mounted outdoors all day?

It is a passive directional antenna with no active electronics, so it produces no heat and no audible noise during continuous operation.
