L-Type Bracket for Dome Cameras

The L49 compcctv bracket is an 8.6-inch aluminium mounting arm designed for indoor or outdoor dome cameras. Its rigid L-profile includes a hidden cable channel that feeds wiring through the arm for weather-protected routing. The white finish suits professional CCTV installations on walls or soffits.

Installers Needing a Single Fixed Camera Mount

Security professionals who want a heavy-duty, weatherproof bracket for one dome housing will find the aluminium construction more stable than plastic alternatives. Buyers who need adjustable pan or tilt movement, multi-camera brackets, or wireless power options should look at other mounting systems.

8.6-Inch Projection from Wall

The bracket extends 8.6 inches from the mounting surface, determining how far the dome sits away from the wall. Verify this reach matches the required field of view and clearance before purchase.

Questions about this item

How is the L-type bracket mounted and which step is often missed?

Secure the bracket to the wall with appropriate fixings, then feed the camera cable through the hidden hole in the 8.6 inch arm before attaching the dome housing.

What maintenance will the aluminium bracket need over time?

Inspect the white finish and mounting screws annually; clean any salt or grime build-up on the heavy-duty aluminium to preserve its weatherproof rating.

What limit appears first when the bracket holds a camera in continuous outdoor use?

The 10 watt power budget for the attached camera is the first constraint; sustained draw above that will trip the supply before the bracket itself shows stress.
