Cerner LPN6S Direct Thermal Labels

These labels are designed for Cerner LPN6S direct thermal printers and ship as a case of 2000 white paper labels on two rolls. Each label measures 4 by 4-1/2 inches and uses a permanent adhesive on a 3-inch core. The product suits clinical and logistics teams that print patient wristbands, specimen tags or shipping labels in high volume. No ribbon is required because the media is heat-sensitive.

Direct thermal printing limits

Direct thermal media darkens when exposed to heat, so labels can fade if stored near sunlight, heat sources or certain chemicals. The surface is not compatible with thermal-transfer ribbons and will not accept inkjet or laser printing. Users must keep rolls in a cool, dark area to preserve print legibility over time. Abrasion and moisture can also degrade the image after printing.
