A low-visibility white permanent screw-base antenna covering 821-896 MHz with 3 dBi gain and N-Female connector for mobile use
The Laird TRA8211S3PW is a narrow-band omnidirectional antenna built for mobile installations that operate between 821 and 896 MHz. It provides 3 dBi gain and a low-visibility white finish suited to fleet or public-safety vehicles. The permanent screw-base design targets installers who need a fixed, professional mount.
The antenna body secures to the vehicle roof or panel with a locknut that resists vibration and weather ingress. An N-Female (N Plug) connector terminates the base, so the installer must supply a Motorola-style mount, cable and mating connector to complete the RF path. No cable or additional hardware is included in the package.
As a purely passive radiating element the antenna draws no electrical power and adds no active noise to the system. Thermal output is negligible and limited to ambient heat absorption from the white radome. Performance remains stable across the stated 821-896 MHz range without cooling or maintenance requirements.

The antenna operates across the 821 to 896 MHz band with 3 dBi gain for omnidirectional coverage.
It secures with a locknut on a permanent screw-base and requires a Motorola style mount with cable and connector.
Connect the N-Female plug to the Motorola mount cable first, then tighten the locknut; skipping the cable connection before mounting is the common error.
