18-Inch Pedestal Fan for Home Use

The Lasko 1850 is an 18-inch pedestal fan built for indoor spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms and home offices. It offers three speed settings and a 90-degree oscillation function to distribute air across the room. A remote control is included for convenient operation from a distance.

Sustained Airflow and Timer Control

The fan runs on three energy-efficient speeds designed for continuous, quiet operation over long periods. A built-in four-hour timer lets you set a shut-off time so the unit does not run unattended. The tilt-back head directs airflow where it is needed without manual repositioning.

Adjustable Height From 38 to 54.5 Inches

The pedestal extends from 38 inches to 54.5 inches, letting you match the airflow height to seating or sleeping level. This range is the key specification for deciding whether the fan fits your intended space and usage. Assembly requires no tools.

Questions about this item

How much noise and heat does the 1850 produce when running all day on its highest speed?

The 1850 is designed with three quiet, energy-efficient speeds, so even continuous operation keeps noise low and the motor runs cool without adding noticeable heat to the room.

What do I need to provide for the 1850 to work straight out of the box?

The 1850 requires a standard household electrical outlet and no tools for assembly; the remote includes its own battery, so nothing else is needed to start using it.

Will the 1850's 90-degree oscillation and 38-to-54.5-inch height range work well alongside my older fixed-height desk fan?

Yes, the 1850's widespread oscillation and adjustable pedestal let it cover the whole room while the older fan handles a focused spot, and the remote lets you change settings without reaching between them.
