Commercial-Grade Pivoting Blower

The Lasko 9550 Air King is a 11.25-inch utility blower built for demanding environments. Its 1/16 HP, 120V ball-bearing motor delivers 310, 260, and 190 CFM across three speeds. The head pivots up to 225 degrees to direct airflow precisely where needed.

Job-Site Professionals and Workshops

This blower suits contractors, workshop owners, and facility managers needing portable, high-velocity air for drying, cooling, or ventilation. Dual grounded outlets supply up to 10 amps for tool charging. It is not for buyers seeking a silent desktop fan or a permanent wall-mount installation.

225-Degree Pivot Range

The single specification that decides fit is the fan head's ability to pivot up to 225 degrees. This range determines whether you can aim airflow at ceilings, floors, or tight corners without moving the unit's base.

Questions about this item

What floor space does the 11.25" Air King 9550 need to sit stably?

The unit rests on rubber feet built into its moulded ABS housing; those feet keep it from sliding on any flat surface.

Which step do owners most often miss when setting up the pivoting head?

The head pivots up to 225° but must be tilted by hand and the rotary dial set to the desired speed before the fan is plugged into a 120 V outlet.

What part will eventually need attention on the 1/16 HP motor?

The motor uses permanently lubricated ball bearings, so no routine oiling is required; only the resettable circuit breaker on the dual grounded outlets may need a reset if the 10 A limit is exceeded.
