Space-Saving Tower Design

The Lasko T38400 is a 38" tower fan built for home or office rooms where floor space is limited. Its vertical profile delivers powerful airflow while occupying a 12" by 12" footprint. A built-in carry handle allows quick relocation between rooms. Simple no-tools base assembly gets the unit running in minutes.

Bedside Convenience Seekers

The multi-function remote lets users adjust four speed levels, activate widespread oscillation, and set an eight-hour auto-off timer without leaving the bed or chair. This suits anyone who values hands-free control during sleep or work. Buyers who need integrated air purification, humidification, or smart-home connectivity should look at other appliance categories.

Plug-and-Play Cooling

The fan operates from a standard household outlet with the supplied blue safety plug and requires no additional wiring, ducting, or mounting hardware. ETL listing confirms compliance with recognised North American safety standards. The compact base frees up surrounding floor area for furniture, while the 9.35 lb weight keeps the tower stable during oscillation.

Questions about this item

What power socket does the T38400 need?

It plugs into a standard wall outlet using the blue safety plug; no special circuit is required.

Will the 38.61-inch height and 12-inch footprint block a typical desk or bedside table?

The slim 12-by-12-inch base sits on the floor, so it clears standard furniture heights without interference.

How can I confirm the oscillation and timer are running correctly after assembly?

The remote displays the active speed, oscillation status and remaining timer countdown up to 8 hours.
