Full Port Ball Valve for Air Systems

The Legend Valve 101-045 is a 1" S-1001 forged brass full port ball valve built for air compressors and vacuum pumps. It provides unrestricted flow in industrial and automotive pneumatic installations.

Capacity and Headroom

The full port design matches the 1" pipe bore so pressure drop stays minimal during high-demand cycles. Brass construction handles typical shop air pressures while the valve remains compact enough for tight manifolds.

Replaces Standard Port Valves

Swapping a reduced port valve for this full port model restores flow capacity without re-piping. The upgrade is worthwhile when tools starve for air or when a system is expanded beyond the original design.

Questions about this item

Will the 1" S-1001 full-port ball valve thread directly onto the 1" NPT outlet of my existing compressor tank?

The valve has 1" female NPT ends, matching a standard 1" male tank outlet, so it screws on without an adapter.

How do I confirm the S-1001 is sealing correctly once installed?

Pressurise the line and brush soapy water on the joints and stem packing; no bubbles means the forged brass body and PTFE seats are holding.

Does the box include pipe-thread sealant or Teflon tape for the 1" connections?

Only the valve is supplied; you must buy thread sealant or PTFE tape separately for the 1" NPT joints.
