Valve Type and Fitting Size

The Legend Valve 450-545P is a 2-inch by 3/4-inch press reducing coupling designed to join pipes of different diameters in plumbing installations. It provides a secure, leak-resistant connection without the need for threading or soldering.

Installer Fit and Project Scope

This coupling suits professional plumbers and maintenance crews working on commercial or residential systems that require a reduction from a larger main line to a smaller branch. Projects needing a straight coupling, a different reduction ratio, or a threaded joint should select an alternative fitting.

Durability Under Continuous Service

The press connection maintains its seal under sustained system pressure and thermal cycling, resisting loosening that can occur with mechanical joints over time. California Proposition 65 notices indicate the product contains chemicals known to the state to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
