It is manufactured by Legion Supplies as a detailed military vehicle collectible intended for adult hobbyists and enthusiasts of military history.

Dimensions and Construction

The model measures approximately 5.5 inches in length with a wingspan of 6.25 inches. It features diecast metal and plastic construction that provides durability and a heavy, realistic feel. The exterior includes realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details for an authentic representation, though the model has no openings.

This sealed presentation makes it suitable for collectors who prioritise box condition. Buyers seeking a model with movable parts, opening panels or a different scale will need to look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/72 scale and 5.5-inch length match the other 1/72 aircraft already on my shelf?

Yes — this model is built to 1/72 scale with a length of 5.5 inches and a wingspan of 6.25 inches, so it lines up dimensionally with other 1/72 diecast aircraft.

How can I verify the model shows the correct "White 48" markings for David Lee "Tex" Hill's 1942 P-40B/C?

Check the fuselage and tail for the white "48" tactical number, the 2nd Squadron Panda Bears insignia, and the 1st American Volunteer Group markings; the panel lines, antennas and access panels are moulded to match the 1942 reference photos.

Does the box include a display stand, or do I need to buy one separately?

A display stand is included in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging; no separate purchase is required for basic shelf display.
