Scale and subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model reproduces the Ilyushin IL-2M3 Sturmovik in the green camouflage scheme of Double Hero of the Soviet Union Ivan Pavlov. It is made from diecast metal with plastic parts for a heavy, realistic feel and comes with a display stand. The model has no openings and arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Display constraints

The aircraft measures approximately six inches in length with an eight-inch wingspan, so shelf depth must accommodate the full span. Panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details are moulded for an authentic representation, but the model does not open to reveal interior components. It is intended for static display rather than play or disassembly.

Upgrade path

Collectors moving from smaller-scale or plastic kits gain a heavier, pre-finished piece with licensed markings and a supplied stand. The jump is worth it when a ready-to-display, metal-construction replica with accurate Soviet Air Force insignia is preferred over self-assembly or lighter alternatives.
