Premium In-Wall Speaker for Home Theater

The Legrand HT5651 5000 Series 6.5" In-Wall Speaker is designed for indoor or outdoor installations. It suits homeowners building a distributed audio system or a dedicated home theater room. The moisture-resistant UFLC tweeters deliver smooth frequency response for clear sound reproduction.

Straightforward Stud-Bay Mounting

Installation fits standard 6.5" cut-outs between wall studs. Foam gaskets are included to minimise vibration and create an air-tight seal against the drywall. The main difficulty is running speaker cable through finished walls without existing conduit access.

Handles Main-Channel and Surround Duties

The 6.5" driver provides enough output for front left, right or centre channels in medium-sized rooms. It also works well as a surround speaker in larger setups. Very large rooms or reference-level playback may require larger drivers or additional subwoofer support.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the HT5651 6.5" speaker is performing correctly once installed?

Play a familiar track and listen for clear, balanced sound across the range; the moisture-resistant UFLC tweeter should deliver smooth high frequencies without harshness, while the foam gasket keeps the cabinet sealed against vibration.

What comes with the HT5651 speaker and what must I source separately?

The box contains the individual in-wall speaker unit with its integrated foam gasket; you will need to supply speaker wire, a compatible amplifier or receiver, and any mounting hardware required for your wall construction.

Which version of the 5000 Series 6.5" in-wall speaker should I choose for a single-room installation?

The HT5651 is sold individually, so purchase one unit for mono applications or a pair for stereo coverage in the room.
