RoboSHOT Elite 12x Zoom Camera

The Legrand RoboSHOT Elite 999-99600-000 is a network surveillance camera with a 1/2.5" Exmor R CMOS sensor. It captures video at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 and provides 12x optical zoom for detailed monitoring. The unit is finished in black.

Suited for Fixed Surveillance Points

This camera suits installations that need optical zoom to identify subjects at a distance without moving the device. Buyers who require higher than 1080P resolution or a wider field of view without zoom should consider other models.

12x Optical Zoom Range

The 12x optical zoom is the specification that determines whether this camera fits the intended viewing distance. It allows the focal length to be adjusted remotely while maintaining full 1920 x 1080 image quality.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Legrand RoboSHOT Elite 999-99600-000 and what step is often missed?

Secure the camera to a ceiling or wall using the four screw holes on its base, then connect the single Ethernet cable for both power and data; the step often missed is verifying the PoE switch delivers enough wattage before tightening the mount.

What maintenance will the 1/2.5" Exmor R CMOS sensor and 12x optical zoom lens need over time?

Clean the front glass with a lint-free cloth and lens fluid every few months; inspect the zoom and focus rings for smooth movement and reseal any cable-entry grommets if the installation is outdoors.

Which limit appears first during continuous 1920 x 1080 streaming at 12x zoom?

The 12x optical zoom reaches its telephoto stop before the 1/2.5" Exmor R sensor or 1080P encoding pipeline hits a bottleneck, so the focal-length ceiling is the first hard limit.
