LENCENT T25 Bluetooth 5.0 car hd radio

What this is

The LENCENT T25 is a Bluetooth 5.0 FM transmitter that plugs into a cigarette-lighter socket and streams audio from a smartphone or other Bluetooth device to a car stereo over an empty FM frequency. It also plays music directly from a USB flash drive or microSD card up to 32 GB in WMA, MP3, WAV, APE and FLAC formats. A blue ambient light ring surrounds the unit for easier operation at night.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

Drivers who want wireless music streaming and hands-free calls through an existing FM radio without replacing the head unit will find this transmitter useful. It also shows the vehicle battery voltage on its display so you can monitor battery health. Buyers who need an auxiliary input or a digital audio output for a direct wired connection should look at a different adapter.

The deciding specification

Bluetooth 5.0 is the wireless standard used for the phone-to-transmitter link; if your phone only supports an older Bluetooth version the connection will still work but without the range and stability improvements of 5.0. The transmitter draws power from the vehicle socket and provides two USB-A charging ports rated at 5 V 2.4 A and 5 V 1 A with over-current, over-voltage, temperature and short-circuit protection.
