Vehicle fitment

The Metra 998711 dash kit is designed specifically for the Mercedes C240, allowing owners to replace the factory radio with an aftermarket unit while preserving the original dashboard appearance. It is intended for DIY installers and professional shops that need a direct-fit solution for this vehicle.

Radio opening standard

The kit features Turbokit openings that accept either DIN or ISO DIN radio chassis, and where dashboard space permits it can also accommodate two ISO mount units or one Double DIN unit. This flexibility lets the installer choose the head unit format that best suits the system plan.

Installation durability

High impact ABS plastic construction matches OEM quality and mounts to the factory radio locations, providing a secure fit that resists vibration and temperature cycling over the life of the vehicle. Snap in ISO supports hold the radio firmly yet allow removal with a flat blade screwdriver when service is required.
