ThinkPad T450S refurbished business laptop

This Lenovo ThinkPad T450S is a refurbished 14.0-inch business laptop running Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit. It uses an Intel Core i5-5300U processor at 2.30 GHz with 8GB of memory and a 256GB SATA SSD. The unit is sold as Grade B condition with an AC adapter included.

Webcam and Wi‑Fi included.

The bundle supplies a 14.0-inch non-touch display, integrated webcam and 802.11ac wireless LAN. Bluetooth is not included, and the specification lists no touchscreen function. An optical drive is present, and three USB ports provide peripheral connectivity.

SATA SSD limits upgrade speed.

The 2.5-inch SATA interface restricts storage throughput compared with faster protocols. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 shares system memory and suits office tasks rather than heavy 3D work. Maximum supported memory is 12 GB, so the 8GB fitted cannot be expanded beyond that ceiling.

Questions about this item

Can the 8 GB memory be expanded later?

The system supports up to 12 GB total, so an additional 4 GB module can be installed.

What limits sustained performance first?

The Intel Core i5-5300U 2.30 GHz processor with integrated Intel HD Graphics 5500 will throttle under continuous heavy load.

How loud and hot does it get when running all day?

The 14.0" Ultrabook chassis uses a single fan; expect audible fan noise and warm keyboard deck during extended workloads.
