PCI Express x16 Riser for 2U Chassis

The Lenovo 4XH7A61081 is a PCI Express x16 riser card designed for 2U server chassis. It enables horizontal mounting of a full-height expansion card in a low-profile enclosure. System integrators and IT administrators use it to add specialised accelerators or networking adapters to rack-mount servers.

Upgrades from low-profile slot constraints

This riser replaces the limitation of low-profile brackets by providing a full x16 electrical connection in a 2U form factor. The jump is worth it when a workload demands a full-height card that cannot fit the native slot orientation. It is not for builds that lack a compatible 2U chassis or an available x16 link.
