Refurbished 16" gaming laptop

The Lenovo Legion 5i is a refurbished 16-inch Windows 11 Home laptop built for gaming and heavy multitasking. It runs on an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX 24-core processor with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.4 GHz and 36 MB cache. Graphics are handled by a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. The system includes 32 GB of DDR5-5600 memory in two SO-DIMM modules and a 1 TB M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD.

Buyers who need a touchscreen or larger storage

This laptop suits users who want high refresh-rate gaming on a colour-accurate IPS panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and G-SYNC support. The 240 Hz display delivers smooth motion for competitive titles. It is not a fit for buyers who need a touchscreen, as the panel is non-touch. Users who require more than 1 TB of internal storage should look elsewhere because only a single 1 TB drive is installed. The 16-inch form factor also makes it less suited for ultra-portable daily carry.

240 Hz WQXGA IPS display with G-SYNC

The screen is a 16-inch WQXGA IPS panel at 2560 x 1600 resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour space and supports DisplayHDR 400, Dolby Vision and NVIDIA G-SYNC for tear-free gaming. Anti-glare coating and low blue light modes improve comfort during long sessions. This display specification is the primary factor in deciding whether the Legion 5i matches your visual and competitive gaming requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the Legion 5i need an external power adapter to run the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5060 at full speed?

Yes, the laptop ships with a dedicated AC adapter that supplies the 24-core CPU and 8GB GDDR7 GPU under load; battery alone cannot sustain peak turbo of 5.4GHz.

Will my older USB-A 3.0 mouse and HDMI 1.4 monitor work with the 2560 x 1600 240Hz panel and Wi-Fi 7 radio?

USB-A 3.0 peripherals connect through the available Type-A ports, and an HDMI 1.4 display will run at its native 60Hz limit while the internal panel keeps its 240Hz refresh.

How can I confirm the 2x 16GB DDR5-5600 memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD are detected correctly after first boot?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab to see 32GB DDR5 at 5600 MT/s and the 1TB NVMe listed under Disk; the BIOS main screen also shows both capacities.
